| Chris Bley coachchris@baacfins.comChris has been the Head Coach for the BAACfins since 2005. Prior to coaching there he was the Head coach for the Bannister Neighborhood Swim Team in Waldorf, Maryland from 1998-2004 He was an assistant coach for Fort Washington Swim Team from 1995-1997; where he grew up and learned to swim. He graduated from Salem-Teikyo University, where he swam, in 2000 and holds a degree in Secondary Ed Biology. He also holds a Master's degree fro College of Notre Dame of Maryland in Educational Supervision and Administration with a concentration in Advanced Sports Coaching. He is currently a teacher of 8th grade science at Magnolia Middle School. He is also currently the Head Coach at Joppatowne High School and the District VII swim representative to the MPSSAA State Swimming Championship meet comittee. Prior to moving to Harford County he taught and coached swimming at Oxon Hill High School from 2000-2004. |

Jonathon Johns (JJ) coachjj@baacfins.comJJ is beginning his fourth year with BAAC. After completing his Master’s Degree in Education at Goucher College, JJ is also beginning his fourth year as a teacher at Joppatowne High School. JJ was a stand-out high school swimmer at Loyola-Blakefield High School before injuries shortened his college swimming career. |
| Lisa King coachlisa@baacfins.comLisa is entering her sixth year of coaching for the Baacfins. Lisa has been swimming year round since the age of four. She started swimming at Meadowbrook Swim Club in the summer and Jersey Wahoos year round. Both clubs are located in New Jersey. Lisa then moved to Bel Air, where she played field hockey, lacrosse, swam and ran track for C. Milton Wright High School. In addition, Lisa also swam for the Bel Air Athletic Club in the summers and year round. Lisa is student teaching in the fall in a first grade classroom at Stewartstown Elementary School located in Pennsylvania. At York College, she played field hockey and was captain of the Spartan swim team. Lisa will graduate from York College of Pennsylvania in December with a major in elementary education and a minor in special education. |
| Joel Marx coachjoel@baacfins.comJoel has been a swim coach at Bel Air High School and within the Harford Swim League for three years. He has been with the Bel Air Athletic Club for seven years—most of that time as a swim instructor—and currently serves as a head pool op. Joel is a graduate ofLoyola University with a degree in Biology. Joel began swimming competitively in high school and swam in the summer for Joppatowne Tigersharks for 3 years and the BAACFins for 1 year. By the end of high school, he finished 5th for the 50 freestyle and 8th for the 100 freestyle in Maryland Public High School Invitational Swimming Championships. He also contributed to the 200 freestyle relay at Joppatowne High School which holds the school record. Joel currently participates in US Masters Swimming swim meets and hopes to improve on his previous achievements. |
