Officials and Starters - All Teams need a starter & a referee and 2 stroke and turn officials
Stroke and Turn (Officials and Starters) classes on the following dates - all times the same-7-9 pm
- May 20 - Jarretsville Volunteer Fire Dept.
- May 25 - BAAC
- June 2 - Spring Hill Suites in Belcamp
Teams can send their stroke and turns/starters to VB mini-meet to get practice.
The BAACfins swim team is a very large summer team.
We need to have at least 3 stroke and turn officials at all meets in order to run a swim meet.
So far, we do not have many parents signed up to learn how to become a stroke and turn official at meets.
If you can help us out this summer by becoming a stroke and turn official, please attend one of the
clinics above. Just show up and sign in. I will get the roster from all of the clinics and contact you
by email. The seasoned officials will work with you until you feel comfortable to officiate on your own.
We cannot run a swim meet without the required number of officials.
Please consider becoming a stroke and turn official.
