When: be at the pool by 6:45 AM warm-ups at 7:00 AM
This meet will be an intra-squad meet. The purpose is to get times for swimmers who may not have swum since last season. Also this meet will give new swimmers an opportunity to learn meet procedures in a low stress environment.
For this reason all swimmers who swim on the year round team in Gold, juniors and seniors will not swim. However your attendance is requested to help mentor your new & younger teammates and meet them as well. Older swimmers in these groups (12 & older) may be asked to time as well. The scratch deadline is consistent with any Saturday meet (June 7th after practice). If you are unable to attend please put your name on the scratch sheet in the scratch folder for this meet.
The events for this meet will be modified as follows from the normal format. There will be NO relays and IM's will be condensed to a male and female event all other events will remain the same. All swimmers will be entered in as many events as the coaching staff thinks the swimmer may be ready for. Some swimmers will be swimming 5 events!
Additionally we will need considerable parent help as this is just our team. It is an excellent chance to learn or refresh your skills in a no pressure environment. If you have any questions see a coach.
